Self-Reliance Kickboxing is more than kickboxing and MMA—we teach realistic self-defense built from authentic, fight-proven techniques. Our goal is to make you capable, confident, and physically and mentally sharp, both inside and outside the gym.

Beginner Program – Fundamentals First

Our Beginner Program builds the foundation every fighter needs.
In this class you will learn:

  • Strong stance, balance, and footwork

  • Clean punches, kicks, knees, and elbows

  • Defensive movement, blocking, and positioning

  • Controlled pad-work and partner drills

This class is focused on precision, discipline, and fundamentals. No contact. No unnecessary intensity. Just the essential building blocks that prepare you for real training as you progress.

Intermediate Program – More Hands-On, More Physical

When your fundamentals are solid, the Intermediate Program introduces a higher level of physicality and pressure.
These classes focus on:

  • Advanced combinations and striking flow

  • Timing, reactions, and real-time decision making

  • Controlled contact drills and high-intensity pad rounds

  • Clinch work, takedown awareness, and transitional movement

  • Ground-and-pound fundamentals and striking from grappling positions

Self-Reliance is a striking-driven gym, and our ground-and-pound work is a major part of what sets us apart. We train athletes to strike from every position, not just while standing.

From full mount to full guard, we teach how to deliver effective, controlled strikes while maintaining balance, posture, and pressure. Our fighters learn to stay dangerous everywhere.
